Chad Vickers, the franchisee overseeing the brand growth in the area, told What Now Chicago that the permit for the new location has been recently received and the space is currently under construction.

Domino’s currently has around 30 locations in the Chicago area and the new spot will be located at 8357 S Cottage Grove Ave.

Vickers said that this location was chosen for the fast-casual pizza restaurant because businesses have proven to be successful in this area.

“It’s a really dense area and highly populated. So I’ve opened a few other locations in the surrounding areas and stores have done pretty well,” said Vickers. “So I’ve just been looking for new territory. We’ve done some events in the area, so it just seemed like a good idea to move locations to the space.”
