The restaurant is the latest concept established by restaurateur and sommelier Lindsey Anderson-Perez, who has long years of experience in the hospitality industry. She is also the owner of Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar, which opened in 2019.

Anderson-Perez told What Now Chicago that she hopes the restaurant would open by mid-July due to permit and licensing delays. The beach-front restaurant will be located at 5701 N Lake Shore Dr.

“The concession stand is currently open. The café and beach bar will feature draft beer, canned wines, frozen cocktails, and a full bar,” she said.

Aura’s café and beach bar menu includes different options of appetizers, salads, and hand-helds, while the concession stand is currently offering lunch and snack boxes with wraps, hotdogs, popcorn, and chips.
