The company’s newest site will move near the Skokie Pointe Shopping Mall. Owner Jianming Zhuo tells What Now Chicago he expects to open this location sometime in October 2023. When it opens, customers can expect a diverse range of juicy seafood, including shrimp, oysters, blue crab, and more. Each dish ranges in spiciness, from slightly spicy, mild, very spicy to extremely spicy, based on how hot the customers want. Combination plates also come with corn and potatoes or other side dishes such as sausage and boiled eggs.

This will be a perfect location for The Tasty Crab’s second location, between DentalWorks and Emma’s Bagel Cafe in the Orchard Plaza. The restaurant won’t have any immediate competition other than a handful of fast food options nearby, such as Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, and Wendy’s. The Tasty Crab will also be the only seafood option in the area and, without a doubt, will be one of the most exciting new restaurants when it opens.

“The goal of “The Tasty Crab” is to let every customer experience an unforgettable journey with tasty, spicy, sour, and sweet flavors, and create an extremely popular hand—helped seafood,” according to the company’s website. “As soon as you open the bag on the table, a hot air accompanied by the flavor of the restaurant’s unique sauce will greet your nostrils. Now, put on your gloves and bibs, and a journey of delicious seafood service begins.”
