The company opened its first Calumet Region spot at 255 Morthland Drive in Valparaiso under franchisees Marissa and Wes Barnes and is already preparing to open more locations throughout the area. Marissa tells What Now Chicago they plan to open the new Munster site by the end of this month. After this, the couple plans to follow that with new locations in Crown Point and Fishers/ Carmel. Customers can expect plenty of delicious doughnuts such as maple bacon, French toast, and churro.

“My husband Wes and I are lifelong residents of Northwest Indiana and are excited to bring a business to our neighboring communities that values giving back, including a passion for supporting the active military, veterans, educators, health care workers, and first responders,” Barnes tells NWI Times. “As we approach our one-year anniversary of opening Parlor Valpo, we continue to be blown away by the support we have had from Northwest Indiana and are so excited to expand the Parlor brand to Lake County.”

Parlor Doughnuts has expanded to 25 locations across ten states through franchising, with new locations coming soon to Richmond and Terre Haute through separate franchise owners, according to the company’s website. The new Munster site will be the company’s sixth location in Indiana. On top of delicious doughnuts, the eatery also sells breakfast tacos, acai bowls, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwiches.
