“The goal opening date will be sometime in the summer of this year. The name of the concept is TBD, but it will be a “breakfast bar,” Salerno told What Now Chicago.

“Customers can look forward to a healthier side of a breakfast menu with some of your favorite daytime libations like a bloody mary, a mimosa, etc., and a clean modern feel and/or look.”

“I own 10 restaurant/bar concepts and this is our first breakfast bar concept.  I’ve always wanted to open a breakfast location, and now we are with a new, modern, and high-energy twist!”

According to the Daily Herald article, “Salerno’s restaurant group includes Evviva! Bar & Eatery near the Lisle Metra Station and Urban Wine + Kitchen on Main Street. For his latest concept, Salerno aims to completely remodel the interior and exterior of the building formerly occupied by Fox Restaurant at the threshold of downtown.”

“Rob Salerno, who owns two Lisle restaurants, has plans to dress up the downtown entrance with a new breakfast bar and a deli market at the southwest corner of Ogden Avenue and Main Street. Salerno envisions the deli having a retail area and offering pasta, homemade sausages, sandwiches, or grab-and-go items along Main Street next door to a breakfast-lunch restaurant with outdoor seating.”
