“We will be opening our doors late this summer,” Vikram Singh, the founder of Kama, told What Now Chicago, “We make everything from scratch and in-house with a philosophy of incorporating the Indian spice rack with American food options. What is different about this location is that it will be a collaboration with my father.”

At Kama, fusion isn’t just a concept—it’s a way of life. The menu exemplifies the innovative blending of Indian and American culinary sensibilities. The chefs at Kama skillfully weave together traditional Indian ingredients with local American produce, creating a symphony of tastes that leaves a lasting impression.

Among their fusion favorites, you’ll find the exquisite Tandoori Chilean seabass, BBQ Ribs Namaste, or Charcoal Grilled Prime Ribeye. Each of these options is cooked using traditional techniques such as the charcoal tandoor grill and sous vide, with other modern cooking techniques being added into the mix.

The cocktail selection is a masterpiece of mixology, where Indian spices and chutneys find their way into artfully crafted drinks. Each sip is a delightful surprise, with the familiar flavors of classic cocktails and teas that hold the addition of Indian spices that are rooted in tradition.
