According to the article, this will be the second new location for Colectivo in the Chicago area, alongside a new Ravenswood location. Both locations are slated to open either in late 2024 or early 2025.

“According to a news release, the Milwaukee-based Colectivo Coffee is renowned for its distinctive café environments, inviting outdoor spaces, signature coffee concoctions, and delectable scratch-made food offerings.”

“Each café is set to feature an extensive menu showcasing Colectivo’s signature espresso beverages, freshly brewed coffee, and cold brew served on tap, alongside an array of all-day breakfast options, freshly crafted sandwiches, and delectable bakery treats sourced from their in-house bakery.”

“The release further states that both locations will be thoughtfully integrated into their respective neighborhoods, with each spanning approximately 2,100 square feet. They will offer indoor seating for up to 40 patrons and outdoor seating for 30.”

“These new additions mark Colectivo’s continued expansion since its inception in Milwaukee in 1993. Having debuted its first Chicago location in 2017, the company currently operates five cafes in the Chicago area, including Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Logan Square, Evanston, and Andersonville, alongside a network of 15 cafes in Milwaukee and Madison,” the article from Southport Corridor adds.

According to Colectivo’s website, “Our company began more than a quarter century ago in a Walker’s Point warehouse; co-owners Ward, Paul, and Lincoln bonded over vinyl records and a strong desire for a better cup of coffee.”
