The local family-owned and run restaurant and catering company is responsible for Slightly Toasted, Little Toasted, Asadito Tacos & Tequila, Lost Bowls, and, most recently, Copper Club. The new brasserie/ cocktail bar recently opened at 70 W. Madison Street, featuring a 20-item menu and about 155 types of bourbon. While the new bar/ eatery is the latest from Toasted Hospitality, it’s not the last. Managing Partner Tyler Mendoza tells What Now Chicago the group is working on signing a lease for a new cocktail-focused concept coming to the area.
Although Mendoza was not able to share any additional details regarding the new concept, customers can expect the same quality of experience as Toasted’s other restaurants and bars. Slightly Toasted, for example, feature over 500 selections, 30+ private barrels, 100+ vintage and rare bottles, 18 taps, and 80+ cans of craft beer. All of the group’s concepts are warm and welcoming, making guests want to stay a while.
Mendoza tells What Now Chicago the group likes to stay in the West Loop Gate/ Loop area for its high volume of foot traffic. Despite being able to charge more for these delicious cocktails, Copper Club features selections that are about $12 per glass, depending on what you get. The new cocktail bar will feature a wide range of different liquors, especially bourbon, allowing customers to try new and unique brands.
