Woman-owned beaded jewelry brand, Little Words Project, opens on December 16 and Canadian women’s fashion brand, Aritzia, opens on December 20 in its newly expanded flagship location. Clothing and lifestyle retailer, Urban Outfitters, will open in January 2024 and Italian intimates store, Intimissimi, is set to open in the spring of 2024. Westfield Old Orchard will also welcome new dining options next year including local all-day lounge Cupitol, which has locations in Chicago and Evanston, and Cafe Castemila, an independently-owned cafe and bakery.

“2023 was a monumental year for Old Orchard as our redevelopment plans gained momentum and our vision for the center started to come to life,” said Serge Khalimsky, Senior General Manager at Westfield Old Orchard in a statement. “We continue to reimagine what the center can be, working towards our goal of transforming Old Orchard into the top Chicagoland destination where people can live, shop, work and play. We look forward to next year, and expanding and enhancing our offering to deliver an exceptional experience for residents and visitors alike.”

The Lord & Taylor redevelopment is part of a multi-phase development plan at Westfield Old Orchard, which was first announced in 2022. Plans also include new residences, dining establishments, wellness facilities and outdoor amenities including a public park and event space. More detailed plans will be unveiled in 2024.
