According to a recent article from Chicago Yimby, Pizza Lobo will open a third location, located at 165 N Morgan Street.
A representative of Pizza Lobo was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Yimby’s article, “Now it has been revealed that Heisler Hospitality will be occupying the whole space after recently signing the lease. The group runs Night & Weekends, Lone Wolf, and Estero FM nearby as well as Pizza Lobo which will open in the building next summer.”
Heisler Hospitality’s about section on their company website states that at the helm are Matt Eisler and Kevin Heisner. “Taking an unconventional and organic approach towards each project while infusing their distinctive sensibilities, Heisler develops award-winning concepts that are current, refined, and timeless. Together, they have not only become known for their forward-thinking projects but also for their efforts to mentor and champion the people they work with.”

A serendipitous encounter in 2006 with Kevin Heisner laid the foundation for Heisler. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute, Kevin’s illustrious career has spanned continents, from Istanbul to Africa. With each project, he effortlessly blends raw authenticity with refined aesthetics, resulting in eclectic and inviting gathering spaces.
Kevin’s design prowess extends beyond the confines of the Heisler portfolio, leaving an indelible mark on renowned venues such as The Publican, Violet Hour, and Big Star. His distinctive approach to design has earned recognition both locally and nationally, with features in publications like Chicago Magazine and Hospitality Design, according to Heisler’s company website.
