Passport, a new modern sports bar and restaurant, opened at 1601 W. Grand Ave. Passport combines the excitement of watching your favorite teams from around the world with international fare, craft cocktails and an artistic ambiance.

Sports fans will soon be making this West Town locale their home away from home as Passport promises to show both American and international sporting events year-round including football, hockey, soccer, basketball, tennis, Formula 1 racing and baseball. 17 TV’s scattered throughout the venue – including 2 on an all-weather winterized patio.

Chef Marissa Tuñon has created a menu that includes snacks, food to share, sandwiches and desserts.

As with any sports bar, the beer selection at Passport is expansive; a wide variety of domestic and international brews will be available in cans and in bottles. A curated selection of wine and a full bar of spirits is also available.

Guests can also imbibe in one of Passport’s craft cocktails from around the world. Highlights on the opening menu include the Fernando from Argentina – made with Fernet, Branca and Cane Sugar Pepsi. The Caipirinha from Brazil – made with Cachaça, Lime, Sugar and Soda. The Carajillo from Spain – made with Licor 43, Grey Goose, and Hexe Cold Brew.
