This is the latest concept from the hospitality group behind No Vacancy, a new bar coming to River North soon. The group was previously owned by Keegan Moon and Ivan McCullagh, but new management has stepped in. The new all-day eatery will feature an elevated breakfast, lunch & dinner service, as well as an inspired coffee and bar program, and is expected to open sometime in Fall 2022. The company is currently hiring staff for its grand opening, so customers can expect an opening as soon as late next month.

The new restaurant will move into a vacant building a few doors down from the Concord Music Hall. The area used to be full of late-night food options, such as Las Islas Marias and Congress Pizzeria, which was perfect for concert-goers. Those restaurants have closed, and the latter has been replaced by women’s clothing store Gram Discover. Although North Milwaukee Avenue has plenty of restaurants further down the street, this will be the closest eatery to Concord Music Hall, making it an ideal place to eat before an event.

NPK Hospitality is relatively new to the industry, starting less than two years ago in September 2020. It’s unknown who is behind this new venture with NPK Hospitality. Representatives from the hospitality group have declined to mention any additional details to What Now Chicago, as the hospitality group plans to release more information soon.
