“Our goal is to be able to open in late October or early November,” the owner of Krema, Kacie Wadycki, told What Now Chicago.

“We have a strong focus on supporting local businesses. We roast all our coffee, with a range of specialty-grade, high-end coffee beans. Our commitment to ethical sourcing extends to using milk from a local dairy farmer located just an hour south. We will be serving pastries and breakfast sandwiches as we do with our other locations.”

“I believe that coffee serves as the heartbeat of a community—a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. We actively engage in various fundraisers and collaborate with local non-profit organizations. Over the years, we’ve raised funds for initiatives like cancer research through the H Foundation, supported organizations like Ready Set Ride, and contributed to local animal shelters, to name a few,” Kacie added.

Kacie expressed that this is Krema’s sixth year in business, with their first location being in Plainfield. She stated that the community has already shown tremendous support, which Krema Coffee Roasters finds both encouraging and heartwarming.

“Gratitude fills the hearts of the Krema Coffee Roasters team. We really appreciate the key individuals who have supported our journey and the loyal customers who have made our growth possible.”
