The Paramount Group is in the process of relocating to its new, state-of-the-art facility on riverfront property between Avondale and West Roscoe Village. A liquor license application filed with the City of Chicago for 2744 W Roscoe St. indicates the hospitality group behind Eden and the catering entities Events and Truffleberry Market is making itself at home.

An announcement by The Paramount Group from earlier this year describes the new location as “18,000 square feet of flexible indoor-outdoor space.” Here the hospitality group plans to “resurrect” Eden, the contemporary American restaurant that closed down in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our new home is going to be spectacular,” TPG Founder and CEO Jodi Fyfle said in the release. “The kitchens will be built to allow for optimal space and conditions for both catering entities and Eden. The design supports our commitment to sourcing and cooking with only the finest ingredients – and growing our own when possible. The front-of-house spaces will have flexible, indoor-outdoor configurations for private dining, which is important to the guest of today and tomorrow.”

“In its new location, guests will find a much more expansive structure, designed by Chef Quinn and whose formal study of horticulture and passion for growing has always informed his menu,” shares the written statement. “His newly constructed greenhouse and the surrounding area will allow for a larger footprint, affording Chef Quinn with the ability to increase the variety of herbs, edible flowers, figs, peppers, and other ingredients that give his dishes the level of quality and freshness they merit.”

Eden has also been sharing updates via social media.  “We’re moving to Avondale, and we’ll have all the great, fresh American flavors, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone,” says Fyfe in a social media update from Eden.

We were unable to reach Fyfe for comment at the time of publication, but Eden’s website indicates the eatery will open for breakfast and lunch in February 2022, with full dining to follow. Find The Paramount Group online to learn more.
