“Taco joint Ancho & Agave plans to open at Yorktown Center in mid-to-late summer 2024. Born out of a flavor-obsessed craving for fresh, delicious Mexican food with a side of fun and with the motto of “tacos, amigos, and tequila,” the brand currently has locations in Bloomington, Illinois, and Middleton, Wisconsin,” the press release states.

“All Ancho & Agave eateries are focused on quality ingredients, refreshing beverages, and good times in a casual setting. Traditional Mexican dishes like tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and house-made fresh guacamole, will be served alongside margaritas and freshly squeezed juices, sangria, and craft cocktails. The restaurant will also offer catering for business meetings and group gatherings.”

“We’re very excited to open this new location,” Director of Marketing Amy Goddard told What Now Chicago, “Our goal is to be able to open three to four new locations per year for the next five years, all of which will have high-quality food and the best service possible.”

Ancho & Agave opened its first location back in 2019 in Bloomington, right next to its sister company’s first location, Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano. Within the next year, Ancho & Agave was able to open another location in 2020.
