The soft opening was Monday, August 26th and a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 29th.

The new location will feature many menu favorites from Tatas Tacos’ two locations – Six Corners and Lakeview, and Tatas Kitchen + Social, in Portage Park. From starters like Empanadas to Chips & Guacamole, and even beloved Fried Potato Taquitos.

Guests can order classic burritos, craft tacos like the Frida with grilled garlic chicken, guacamole, pickled cabbage, and pico de gallo, or more classic taco options, like Al Pastor or Camaron. The new kitchen will also have Mexican Grillers, two options for French bread stuffed with either Birria Beef, or your choice of protein – steak, chicken, tinga or picadillo. A variety of soups and salads will be available, as well as a kid’s menu and desserts that include Traditional Flan, Churros, and Torrejas, a cross between churros and French Toast served with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon sugar, whipped cream, and lechera syrup.

Tatas Tacos is located at 3517 N. Spaulding Avenue, Chicago IL 60618.
