According to a recent permit filing, Golfstrommen has filed for a Fulton River District area location at 316-318 W Erie Street.

A representative of Golfstrommen was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Chicago’s request.

While an official opening date and what Golfstrommen plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, five LLCs are listed on the permit alongside Wen-Hao Wen, Donny Padda, and Ashish Seth.

Golfstrommen was filed under Tri-Fam Erie LLC, according to the permit. Open Corporates states that Tri-Fam Erie LLC was registered in Austin, Texas with Golfstrommen as the LLC trading name.

Google states that the address listed for Golfstrommen was once home to the Coyote Ugly Saloon. Yelp and Google both mark Coyote Ugly Saloon as permanently closed.

The building is marked as a retail/restaurant space, according to Loop Net. Originally built in 1994 and renovated in 2019, the property boasts 7,626 square feet of space.
