The company, founded by Sean Thomas, Mookie Lee, Patrick Wartan, and Fabio Viviani, will start by opening a second location at Whole Foods in Lincoln Park at 1550 N Kingsbury Street in Summer 2022. Then, later this year, Fresh Stack Burger will move to Oak Brook at an unknown date and location. In a warm, welcoming space, guests can expect fresh and locally sourced ingredients in all of its burgers, chicken sandwiches, and other menu items.

Every burger patty is hand-rolled in-house and then hand-pressed on our high-temp griddle, ensuring the perfect brown crust. On the other hand, the chicken sandwiches are pickle brined and then drenched in buttermilk for 24-hours. Once it’s properly tenderized, they double fry it to order. Besides delicious burgers and chicken sandwiches, Fresh Stack Burger also offers good music, live sports and entertainment, and various beer, wine, and cocktails.

“We come from a burger family that has learned that the key to a great burger is two-fold — you have to take pride in the sizzle of top-notch ingredients, and enjoy a stack or two for yourself along the way (you know, for quality control),” according to the company’s website. “Through the years, our father and our father’s father taught us the ins and outs of what it takes to serve the best burgers your table has ever seen.”
