First, the company will make its area debut in Glenview by moving into the former home of John’s Garage Sports Bar at 1800 Tower Dr. Considering the restaurant’s Facebook has mentioned this location’s opening is coming soon since early June, it’s likely we’ll see this site open before the end of the year. Next, the company will open its seventh location in Orland Park at 14035 South La Grange Rd. Chuck Lager America’s Tavern is expanding into Florida with new sites coming to Oldsmar and Tampa.

Chuck Lager America’s Tavern is the creation of Top Chef “fan favorite” Fabio Viviani, who discovered his passion for cooking through learning with his grandmother, and Chuck Lager, who found his love of great cuisine while traveling the world. The two came together and felt inspired to create a restaurant dedicated to creating new stories and adventures that will be shared for years. The restaurant features a chef-inspired menu, a vast selection of craft bourbons, ice-cold beers, and decadent desserts.

“One day, Fabio met a man in his grandmother’s kitchen,” according to the restaurant’s website. “This man had heard rumors of her incredible dishes. She welcomed him into her home and served truly inspired meals, and he never forgot the way that experience made him feel. That man was Chuck Lager. Chuck and Fabio kept in touch and became great admirers of one another. They vowed to work together on a restaurant, which ultimately became Chuck Lager America’s Tavern.”
