The company’s second official location, and first standalone site, are currently open on Tuesdays and Thursdays but not to the public. Founder and CEO Ugur Karatas expects to open the new Angora Coffee Roast to the public sometime in 2023, according to the company’s website. When this new facility opens, customers can expect freshly roasted coffee available over the counter or through wholesale. The space was previously the home of an American welding company.

Karatas founded the specialty coffee roaster in 2020, offering single-origin coffees from the coffee belt. In addition to delicious coffee, the company also provides subscriptions, equipment, and training. These resources will teach customers how to brew at home and give the customers everything they need to start their morning with a great cup of coffee. The company offers free shipping on orders over $35. Agora Coffee will likely use the facility to provide similar resources to its customers.

“By following the standards set by Specialty Coffee Association, Angora Coffee Company is using the method of continuous improvement, brick by brick, building relationships with our customers and guests,” according to the company’s website. “As a roaster, we believe it’s our responsibility to showcase every example around the coffee belt from Africa and South America to Asia-Pacific. We roast these specialty coffees and bring these single origins to the product line we have created as Altai, Fortis, Lux, Orion, Solaris, and Lunaris.”
