Co-Owners Syreeta Nuckolls and Gavin Jackson will bring a new events space to Chicago’s South Side by the end of this month. Visions, which will be an all-purpose events space specializing in large-scale events, is slated to open at 11901 S Loomis St, where it will replace Universal Entertainment Center.

“We come from a restaurant background. We own Tilly’s Pit & Pub in Calumet City, and we’re very much known for our cuisine and lively environment, so we’re happy to bring a bit of culture back home to Chicago where we were born and raised,” Nuckolls said speaking with What Now Chicago. Nuckolls added she’s particularly excited to bring Visions to the South Side, where other events venues like it are hard to come by.

Visions is currently in the liquor licensing process. Nuckolls shared the venue will have multiple bar spaces as well as offer banquet hall food services from plated food, to family-style, to buffets.

Nuckolls says the target date for launching Visions is October 31st, so you’ll be able to find the event space online at that time. While you wait, get brainstorming some occasions worth celebrating with a big party.
