Marrow Fine, the fine jewelry brand from founder and creative director Jillian Sassone, announces the opening of its newest flagship boutique in Chicago, IL on December 1, 2023. Located in the lux Gold Coast neighborhood, the new boutique marks as the brand’s third location and first outside of Southern California.
Sassone teamed up with design firm Bells + Whistles, who also brought to life her vision for the Newport Beach location and San Diego renovation. Inspired by design cues from the rich art deco era, the 1,115 sf sales floor is decked out in oversized tambour, Venetian plaster and American walnut. Soft velvet seating lavishly swoops around illuminated jewelry cases accented in rust marble marble creating a sexy and opulent vignette-like effect.
“I am truly grateful and so proud of how far the brand has come. What began at our kitchen table has grown to three locations; it’s simply surreal,” says Jillian Sassone, founder and creative director in a statement. “This is such an exciting time for Marrow as we open our first showroom out of our home state of California, and it’s exciting to think about where the brand will go from here.”
The babe cave, the intimate salon privé at the back of the store, transports clients into the center of a hollowed out ruby; a monochromatic wonderland saturated in red, the room features a wall to wall velvet banquet enveloped by velvet walls. Its centerpiece, a custom marble table invites couples and girl gangs to sink into a lavish universe, while a champagne cart awaits them to celebrate one of their most important days.
Marrow’s fans include Margot Robbie, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Richa Moorjani, Jessica Alba among others. Combining unexpected and playful design elements with serious style, Sassone is redefining the fine jewelry experience from retail to ring.
