To celebrate the grand opening, the new Jet’s Pizza location will be running a special from April 9-13 – free 12-piece Jet’s Bread with the purchase of any large pizza (code: BREAD27). On May 15, they’ll host an even grander celebration with every customer receiving a free 4 Corner Pizza with one-topping, no purchase necessary at the new restaurant (carry out only).

“Jet’s Pizza is looking forward to growing our footprint in one of the most iconic pizza cities in the country,” said John Jetts, President of Jet’s Pizza in a statement. “Though we’ve been around for nearly half a century – long before the average customer knew what Detroit-style pizza was – we still use the same recipes passed down from my mother, and the same high-quality ingredients.”

Brothers John and Eugene Jetts opened the first Jet’s Pizza in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights in 1978, long before Detroit-style pizza became a household name. Today – 43 years later – Jet’s Pizza has nearly 400 locations in 19 states. In the past five years alone, there has been a 63% increase in Detroit-style pizza on menus, and Jet’s is now in 19 states.

In addition to its Detroit-style pizzas, the menu at Jet’s also includes hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY-style pizzas, as well as seasoned cauliflower crusts and gluten-free crusts. Jet’s Pizza also offers eight unique flavor crusts like Turbo Crust (garlic, butter, & Romano cheese), cajun and sesame seed. They’re also known for their Jet’s Bread, Deli Boats, and award-winning Ranch dressing.
