Named for the magical old carousel that anchors the Piazza della Repubblica in Fabio’s hometown of Florence, Italy, Giostra will transport guests to a charming slice of Old Florence. The highly anticipated new restaurant promises an authentic Italian dining experience that blends the rich culinary traditions of Fabio’s childhood with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Widely known for regular national TV appearances on Bravo and the Food Network as well as shows like Good Morning America, Fabio is not just a name at Giostra; he is a neighbor (Fabio and his family reside in South Barrington.) The intimate connection he has with the local community adds a very special and personal touch to the dining experience.

The menu at Giostra will center around classic Italian dishes, lovingly crafted from recipes passed down through generations, including those of Fabio’s mother and grandmother. Guests can look forward to savoring homemade pastas, seafood, steaks and more. Giostra’s food menu will be complemented by one of the most extensive and well-rounded Italian wine lists in Chicagoland, created by internationally renowned sommelier and beverage expert Fabrizio Di Rienzo.

Giostra will be located at 100 W. Higgins Rd. H20 South in The Arboretum of South Barrington.
