Located at 713 S Seeley Ave., Chick-fil-A Illinois Medical District will be open for dine-in and carry-out from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Illinois Medical District can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A App or online.

The Illinois Medical District restaurant joins 47 other Chick-fil-A’s serving the greater Chicagoland region. As part of the brand’s broader plans to develop its market footprint and open 10-15 new restaurants by 2025, Illinois Medical District is the third of five Chick-fil-A restaurants slated to open in Chicagoland by the year’s end.

In Illinois Medical District, Groom will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 50 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

“Our medical community cares so deeply for its patients, and it’s my hope that our restaurant shares that same level of care in return,” said Groom in a statement. “In my journey to becoming an Operator, I understand how important it is to provide a safe place for my team to work and grow with one another. Together, we have such a special opportunity to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with the restaurant, support our community and engage with organizations that help underserved Chicagoans.”

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Chicagoland area to aid in the fight against hunger.

In addition, Chick-fil-A Illinois Medical District is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Illinois Medical District area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

The original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich is made with a real, whole, boneless breast of chicken with no added fillers, the breaded chicken is pressure cooked in fully-refined peanut oil. Chick-fil-A was one of the first in the industry to eliminate chicken raised with antibiotics to ensure guests have an option for high-quality food on the go.

To complement the chicken, fresh produce is delivered to Chick-fil-A restaurants up to six times a week for the best quality and flavor. The fresh ingredients are raised and grown by farmers who share the company’s elevated quality and safety standards.
