The company’s current location at 154 McHenry Road will have its last day on July 25, an employee tells The Daily Herald. Now, owners Jay Yang and Rocky Guo will soon move less than a mile from their original location to The Clove. Guo tells What Now Chicago he expects to open the new location in about three months, sometime in Fall 2022. He says the current tenant has two months to clear out, while Sushi Grove will take at least a month to get everything in order.

Once Sushi Grove moves from its current location, Kensington Development Partners will demolish the building to make room for a seven-story mixed-use building for residents and retailers. On top of that, the real estate developers will move certain tenants to the building north of Old Checker Road, which will also undergo renovations. The Clove, also from Kensington, will be a new, modern central entertainment and residential district.

As for Sushi Grove, the restaurant features an extensive menu of various Japanese classics. On top of the plethora of sushi options, the restaurant also features vegetarian options, house specialty maki, kitchen entrees, and items from the hibachi grill. For larger parties, Sushi Grove also offers party tray options, where the restaurant can cater with over 50 pieces of sushi.
