If you’re a fan of tide-to-table oysters, not to mention shrimp, clams, crab legs, and mussels, the opening of Naperville’s very own Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar is an event you won’t want to miss. The brand hails all the way from North Carolina, and local franchisees Kyle and Angie Howard are currently at work to bring those flavors a bit closer to home.

Headed to 8 W. Gartner Road, Suite 140, in Naperville, Shuckin’ Shack will serve up fresh steamed and raw seafood as well as wings, salads, tacos, and more.

The brand prides itself on offering a seafood shack experience that appeals to families of all ages. In addition to bites like cold crab dip, fried pickles, and beer battered cheese dip, Shuckin’ Shack boasts a menu of beachy cocktails. Painkillers, Michealdas, and Saltmarsh Margaritas are at the top of the menu. Or how about going all in with an oyster shooter?

An opening date for the Naperville spot has not been announced just yet, and though we reached out to Kyle and Angie Howard for comment, we did not hear back at the time of publication. A recent comment on the location’s social media account indicates the site at 8 W. Gartner Road is in the build-out phase and the eatery will open for business later this year.
