Senso Sushi is planned for 3 N. White Street. It will be an 105-seat, full-service restaurant offering “approachable and shareable plates for sushi and non-raw sushi eaters,” as well as a curated cocktail menu with fresh-squeezed juices.

The restaurant comes from Mookie Lee, also the owner of Poke Bowl Co. in the Whole Foods on N. Kingsbury Street and a founder of Fresh Stack Burger.

As for design, the restaurant will incorporate cherry blossom trees and plenty of green for a nature-inspired look, including green tiles, lots of plants, and a matcha-forward cocktail.

Senso Sushi is expected to open in late October. A recent job posting indicates that the restaurant is hiring sushi chefs.

Operating hours are expected to be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
