Libertyville locals, Chef, and Brothers Nick and Theo Dimitriou opened Chrissoulas in their hometown back in 2018. In just three years, Chrissoulas, named in honor of their Yiayia (Greek for grandmother), has quickly become a destination restaurant and according to a Craigslist Advertisement, was recently voted #6 best Greek restaurant in the U.S.

That same advertisement suggests the brothers are in the process of developing something new. “We’re looking to expand with a new project in the near future,” the ad reads, which is seeking an individual to “grow quickly within our family and our restaurants.”

No details are given regarding exactly what that “new project” will be, and the Dimitrious did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Chrissoulas serves a refined menu of modern house-made dishes inspired by Greek and Mediterranean flavors. Of the small plates, soups and salads, large plates, and sides, Duck Fat Fries, Pumpkin Lamb Sugo, Chrissoulas Burger, and Tuna Carppaccio are just a few of the menu’s highlights. The eatery features a weekend raw bar and Sunday brunch as well.
