The new bar and lounge/ golf simulator hopes to change the game by making golf available at all times of the year, not only when it’s sunny. The Green will be the solution to bad weather, inadequate technology, and inaccessible courses. Unlike other indoor golf simulators in the city, such as Five Iron Golf and Play18, The Green has the ability to putt and will feature realistic surface variations, such as the rough, a sand trap, and a fairway. Guests can expect this new business to open sometime in Summer 2022.

Indoor golf isn’t the only factor that will make this the next go-to attraction any day of the week. The atmosphere will be extremely welcoming, featuring beautiful lighting, thoughtful acoustics, and a centrally located bar. This comfortable experience makes it easy to want to go back sooner than later. After working up an appetite while golfing, the on-site restaurant will offer handcrafted meals from some of the top minds in Chicago’s food scene.

Owner Connor Ptacin and his business partner Matt Barry have worked together to bring this concept to Chicago. The duo has partnered with the global leader in golf simulator technology for this new business, which features auto-tee technology and multi-surface mats. The articulating swing plate adjusts to any lie, whether the ball lands uphill, downhill, or sidehill. Overall, The Green will combine its one-of-a-kind golf technology with its welcoming environment and delicious food to create the next big indoor golf simulator in Chicagoland.
