The new 129,000-square-foot big box store that used to be Sam’s Club will hopefully turn into a multi-use strip mall will space for a trampoline park, golf simulator, food hall, and restaurants, according to the Daily Herald. The development has recently become possible after developer Eddie Juling Ni of the Windfall Group proposed investing more than $10 million. If plans are approved, the project is scheduled to complete at the end of 2023 or the start of 2024.

Several businesses have already submitted plans to city officials to be a part of this development. Proposed non-restaurants include Launching Franchise, a trampoline park and family entertainment center that will take up 29,500 square feet; a 46,000 square-foot Enson Market; and a 29,5000 square-foot golf simulator. As for restaurants, the potential eateries include KyuRamen, Mango Mango, Lao Sze Chuan, a still-to-be-announced hot pot/Korean barbecue restaurant, and a modern, contemporary food hall of 10 restaurants and a bar.

There are five other possible occupants, including a retail store and a sushi restaurant. Other improvements from the proposed $10.1 million renovation include parceling the old big box; a new facade, glass, doors, and utilities; a repaved 800-space parking lot; and a new loading dock in back. Officials estimate this development could create just under 300 jobs for the community. All of this will resemble a similar concept from Eddie Juling Ni in Aurora called Pacifica Square.
