A liquor license application filed with the City of Chicago reveals the name and address for Jamie Hale and Julia Shell’s newest restaurant. Like their first restaurant, AJ Hudson’s Public House, The Albion Manor will be in the style of an English pub and is expected to open at 1480 W. Webster Avenue. The liquor license application indicates the pub will be a two-level establishment.

A Craigslist advertisement that has since expired first tipped What Now Chicago off to the opening of Hale and Shell’s new project. At the time, Albion Manor was described as an elevated pub with a “Beverage Director’s cocktail program.”

The Lincoln Park tavern will sit on the corner of W. Webster and N. Dominick on the North Branch of the Chicago River. Nearby establishments include Cornerstone Café; kibbitznest books, brews, and blarney; and Pequod’s Pizza.

There’s no word yet on when The Albion Manor will open, but you can learn a little more about the team behind the new pub by finding AJ Hudson’s Public House on social media.
