The new 4,232 square-foot business will move into the former home of Acadia at an unknown time. Owner Jason Weingarten recently applied for a liquor license, hinting at the possibility of alcohol being served at this new restaurant. Additional information regarding the new restaurant/ delivery service is unknown. Weingarten was unable to provide any further details to What Now Chicago. Entree Global will sit right next to Fred Anderson Park.

It’s unknown what kind of food will be served at this new restaurant. The company’s website suggests this could potentially be a ghost kitchen where customers order from an app and have their food delivered. Nonetheless, this will be the closest restaurant to Fred Anderson Park. South Loop is known for its various eateries, but this location will be perfect for its lack of dining options.

Weingarten is a tech entrepreneur who is an active angel investor through Subconscious Ventures. The firm invests in relentless and humble founders who love and appreciate diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, Jason co-founded and was the CEO of Yello, the leader in university recruiting. Today Weingarten remains an active board member helping to provide the company with strategic guidance. Now the entrepreneur is getting ready to test his luck with this brand new restaurant.
