The new restaurant will move into the former home of Ted’s Montana Grill and Oswald’s Pharmacy, west of South Washington Street, according to the Daily Herald. While the restaurant is currently in Boston and Las Vegas, job postings listed on the company’s website suggest the new Naperville site is expected to open sometime in Spring 2023. When it opens, customers can expect a variety of British staples and other dishes that are inspired by Gordon Ramsay’s global travel.

The internationally renowned, multi-Michelin-starred chef has opened several successful restaurants, including 21 in the U.S. Ramsay, who is also known for hosting “Master Chef,” “Kitchen Nightmares,” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” entered the Chicago market two years ago when he opened Gordon Ramsay Burger in the River North District. Now Ramsay is continuing his Chicagoland expansion with this new restaurant. Lisle-based 41 North Contractors was first issued building permits in early October, according to Naperville city documents.

It’s safe to say this will be one of the highest-level restaurants in the area once it opens. Ramsay has a collection of restaurants worldwide, including Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips, Gordon Ramsay Food Market, Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill, and Gordon Ramsay Steak. While each restaurant focuses on a specific cuisine or style at an elevated level, Ramsay’s Kitchen will feature a plethora of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, such as beef, seafood, and pasta.
