Dollop Coffee Co. has been a local around Chicago since 2005, when it first opened in Uptown. And not only does this little company (okay, not so little anymore—there are 14 brick-and-mortars attached to the company’s name) roast its own beans, it laminates its own dough! The coffee shop, bakery, and diner whips up treats all across Chicago, and has plans to expand its reach even further.

According to a liquor license application, a Dollop Diner Café and Bar will open at 1210 S. Indiana St. in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood. The diner will set up shop mere steps from Grant Park. To-go picnic anyone?

We were unable to reach owner Dan Weiss for comment at the time of publication, but if Dollop Diner over in Andersonville is any indication, this new brick-and-mortar will serve up breakfast, lunch, and dinner composed with locally sourced produce and chicken. From chicken & waffle to miso kale caesar, Dollop Diner’s sprawling menu has a little something for every taste. (Have you seen their doughnuts??) And we know one thing’s for certain, this location is sure to continue in the tradition of helping you get your brunch drink on.

Find Dollop Diner on social media or visit the eatery’s website for more information.
