Lincoln Park welcomes its newest culinary destination, Ceiba, a Latin-inspired restaurant helmed by Chef Armando Gonzalez. Known for his ability to blend traditional Latin flavors with modern techniques, Chef Gonzalez brings his expertise to this 4,200 sq. ft. restaurant, which opened this week. As the sister location to the popular Amerikas in Oak Park, Ceiba promises an innovative and vibrant menu in a fresh new setting.

Chef Armando Gonzalez, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, has become a figure in Chicago’s culinary scene with his work at top establishments like Libertad, Mas, and mk. At Ceiba, he continues to elevate Latin cuisine by combining bold, authentic flavors with global influences, crafting dishes that are both comforting and adventurous.

Ceiba also boasts an inventive cocktail program, focusing on fresh, health-forward Latin-inspired drinks. Each cocktail is designed to complement the bold dishes on the menu with creative, unexpected flavor combinations.

Co-owned by Crystal Escalante and Louis Castellano, Ceiba reflects the team’s commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience for both locals and visitors.
