Although the company did not release any addresses, Buffalo Wild Wings shared its plans to continue expanding in the Chicago area through its new small-format concept, Buffalo Wild Wings GO. GO is a new grab-and-go concept from the popular national chain that allows patrons to order from a modest menu of items for quick take-away.

GO was first piloted in Atlanta and has since expanded into other markets like Orlando. The venture is designed to accommodate the shifting preferences of consumers that have been influenced, in part, by the pandemic.

“We’re your go-to when you need wings on the go,” shares the company’s website. GO offers the ease of three different ordering methods: online, in the app, or at the counter. From there, food is prepared and held warm in heat lockers until you’re ready to pick it up. Although the menu is much smaller than that of a typical BWW restaurant, in addition to wings you can find other favorites.

Earlier this month, BWW launched its first brick-and-mortar of the brand in Chicago’s Melrose Park. But if you find the commute a little long, you shouldn’t worry. “We’re excited to bring BWW GO to the Chicagoland area. In addition to the Melrose Park location, which opened on November 19, Buffalo Wild Wings will open two more GO restaurants in Des Plaines and Evergreen Park in early 2022,” the company shared in a written statement. “We look forward to introducing this new takeout and delivery-focused model to our fans in the market in the coming months.”
