Amor Y Tequila will open at 2118 W. Roscoe Street in Roscoe Village, according to a liquor license application filed with the City of Chicago. Although the eatery’s Instagram account suggests it will open in November 2021, Owner Roxanne Medina did not respond to multiple requests for comment on an exact opening timeline.

From Amor Y Tequila’s social media presence, we can tell you the new eatery will offer ample outdoor dining on a patio complete with a beautiful black and white mural over the building’s brick exterior. Décor includes lush planters by Herrera Landscape and doors from Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse repurposed to create a plant wall. The last posts from Amor Y Tequila’s account were made in August of this year.

When it does open, Amor Y Tequila will find itself in good company. 2118 W. Roscoe St. neighbors other village eateries like Piazza Bella, John’s Place, and Cuba 312.

In the meantime, you’ll want to follow the restaurant on social media so you don’t miss an update.
