Clark Street), the expansive 5,300-square-foot restaurant will bring genuine hospitality and a fresh, vibrant interpretation of Balkan cuisine to the heart of one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods,” a press release sent to What Now Chicago states.
“Ambar will elevate Chicago’s bold spirit of Balkan cuisine with the help of the visionary leadership of Street Guys Hospitality, known for its dynamic concepts in Washington, DC and in their home country of Serbia.”
“Chicago boasts one of the largest Balkan populations in the United States, and Ambar is eager to celebrate its cuisine while educating visitors and locals alike on the flavors, techniques and ingredients found throughout the peninsula. Rooted in exceptional hospitality and inspired by the culture’s rich tradition of communal dining, the menu will blend timeless recipes with modern twists.”
“Through its innovative Dining Without Limits experience, the award-winning dining group invites guests to explore over 30 signature dishes for one set price, offering exceptional value and a chance to experience the bold flavors in an unlimited tasting menu. The menu features regional specialties such as slow-cooked dishes from Northern Serbia, grilled meats from Southern Serbia, and fresh seafood from Montenegro and Croatia.”

We can’t wait to welcome our community, and allow guests the chance to explore the flavors and traditions of our home countries.”
